Lines are a great way to control where someone looks within an image. They can separate, bring together, or accent certain parts of a photo. The point of lines is to draw the eye into a picture. There are many types of lines that are used in photography like vertical lines for example trees and tall structural designs. There are horizontal lines that are usually fallen trees, the ocean, beaches. Curved lines or s curves are also a type of line which includes rivers, streams, paths and even the human body. There are also diagonal lines and converging lines.
